Patrick de Cambourg

Patrick de Cambourg has been Chairman of the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Council since November 2022. From 2015 to November 2022, he was Chairman of the French Accounting Standards Authority (ANC), the French public authority responsible for accounting standards. In this capacity, he was also a member of the boards of the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF), the Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR), the French National Council of Accountants (CNOCP), and the High Council for Financial Stability. Patrick was a member of the EFRAG Financial Reporting Council and chaired the EFRAG Task Force on the preparatory work for the development of potential European non-financial reporting standards from September 2020 to April 2022. Patrick, a graduate of Sciences Po Paris, holds degrees in public law and business law, as well as a bachelor’s degree in literature. A chartered accountant and auditor, he spent his entire career within the Mazars group, successively as a junior, manager, partner and senior partner (1983-2014). Since the end of 2014, he has been honorary chairman of the Mazars group.
