Even though the second wave of supply chain legislation for companies in Germany has only just started at the turn of the year, the topic of sustainability reporting will continue to gain relevance. With the European Directive on Deforestation-Free Supply Chains (EUDR) and the EU Sustainability Directive (CSRD), further ESG laws are just around the corner that will force companies to take action in the short to medium term.
