osapiens was founded in 2018 in Mannheim, Germany, by Stefan Wawrzinek, Matthias Jungblut and Alberto Zamora to solve one of the biggest challenges of the modern enterprise: full transparency across complex, global value chains. Most organizations could see no further than their direct suppliers, while the data that mattered stayed locked in disconnected systems. osapiens was built to bring that information together in one platform and turn it into something teams could act on.
What began as a mission for transparency became an operating system for supply chains, compliance and operations, and one of the most compelling growth stories in European software. osapiens won the German Founder's Award in 2022 and reached unicorn status in January 2026, following a US$ 100M Series C led by BlackRock and Temasek.
