LAB-Session: ZPL Label Template Management

The problem it solves: all the upstream work — serialization, aggregation, regulatory reporting — is wasted if the printed label has wrong data, wrong format, or isn't scannable. A bad field mapping, wrong barcode size, or outdated market variant means rejected packs on the line or failed scans downstream. In the HUB, labels are built and owned by your team directly on the platform, not handed off to a print vendor.

What the session covers:
 

• Label template structure — fields, barcodes, layout
• Mapping serialization data (unique IDs, GTIN, batch/lot, expiry) into your ZPL template
• Regime-specific label variants (EU TPD, CRPT, UKGW, etc)
• Previewing and testing print output before it goes live
• Troubleshooting common print/scan failures at the packing line
• A live, interactive template-build
   

Prep: after registering, attendees get a sample dataset and template starter kit to upload into their system, so they can build and test their own template during the session.

Outcome: full ownership of the label lifecycle — design to print-ready — without waiting on IT or a printer vendor.
