Dunlop is choosing osapiens' AI platform, the osapiens HUB, to build a defensible EUDR due diligence process, and a more resilient view of where its natural rubber originates, across a large and fragmented upstream supply chain.

Birmingham, United Kingdom and Mannheim, Germany, October 5th, 2026 – osapiens, the leading AI platform for compliance and supplier intelligence, today announced that Dunlop Aircraft Tyres has selected the osapiens HUB to automate compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) across its global natural rubber supply chain.

Natural rubber presents one of the most complex compliance challenges under EUDR. The regulation extends accountability beyond a company's direct suppliers to the origin of the raw material itself, and for tire manufacturers, that origin is a large, fragmented network of upstream sources with limited digital records. At that scale, manual review is no longer a viable compliance approach.

“Natural rubber is one of the hardest supply chains to bring into EUDR compliance, because the real risk sits many tiers upstream, well beyond what any manual process can reasonably track. Dunlop's decision shows where the market is heading: toward AI that doesn't just detect risk, but resolves it, automatically and defensibly, at the scale a global supply chain demands.”

Stephan de Barse, Chief Revenue Officer, osapiens

Dunlop selected the osapiens HUB for its proven ability to automate deforestation and legality risk assessments down to the individual plots where its rubber originates. The platform embeds that due diligence directly into Dunlop's existing workflows, making EUDR compliance a built-in capability of how the business runs rather than a separate, resource-intensive undertaking.

Every check, piece of evidence and decision is documented automatically, giving Dunlop a clear, defensible record it can draw on for regulatory reporting, customer requests or internal governance. Where a standard process can't resolve a case, such as incomplete data or added complexity further upstream, AI agents step in to work the exception directly rather than routing it to a person by default.

“Dunlop Aircraft Tyres are committed towards building and maintaining a sustainable supply chain. The implementation of Osapiens is an important step towards the same and our EUDR compliance programme. It provides us enhanced visibility on our supply chain, enabling us to manage our due diligence requirements efficiently, and provide confidence that Dunlop Aircraft Tyres is meeting its regulatory obligations.”

Andy Wells, Purchasing Manager, Dunlop Aircraft Tyres

For Dunlop, the shift turns EUDR compliance from a recurring operational risk into a source of resilience. Rather than chasing that risk manually across a large, fragmented upstream supply base, the company now has a single, continuously updated view of its natural rubber supply chain, one it can rely on today and extend as due-diligence requirements widen tomorrow.
