Dr. Sarah Torres

Dr. Sarah Torres acts as Senior Consultant and Team Lead at the international security management consultancy VICCON GmbH. After working at a research institute for several years where she completed her doctorate in applied linguistics and communication science, she started her career in the field of cybersecurity in 2021.  She specializes in project and process management as well as business continuity and crisis management, particularly in the context of critical infrastructures.  From her many years of research work, she brings an eye for detail and experience in evaluating data – both of which are important when analyzing, evaluating and advising on secure business processes. During her work at VICCON, she has acquired theoretical and practical expertise in various areas such as information security and know-how protection, risk and emergency management, strategic ISMS planning, as well as emergency and contingency planning.
