osapiens, the leading provider of Software-as-a-Service solutions for sustainable growth, is expanding its portfolio with the new product line “EASY START“. With this offering, which is specifically tailored to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), osapiens draws on its many years of experience working with companies of all sizes – and adapts proven technology to a format that meets the needs and resources of SMEs. 

At launch, the EASY START portfolio includes Reporting Essentials for structured sustainability reporting, including carbon footprint management and reporting templates (e.g., VSME, CSRD, GRI), as well as solutions for the EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation), PPWR (EU Packaging Regulation), FCR (EU Fisheries Control Regulation), and CMMS (digital maintenance management).

With “EASY START,” osapiens addresses the growing need among SMEs to implement regulatory requirements in a simple, efficient, and audit-ready manner. New EU regulations and market requirements lead to companies being increasingly required to provide reliable sustainability and verification data – for example, to business partners, banks, or within the supply chain. At the same time, SMEs often lack dedicated compliance teams and standardized data processes. “EASY START” therefore combines preconfigured workflows, automated data collection (including supplier integration), and structured documentation to reduce the workload and improve data quality.

  • Reporting Essentials: The central tool for structured collection and management of sustainability data. Predefined templates for VSME and GRI, custom KPIs, an integrated carbon footprint calculator (Scope 1–3), automated report generation, and XBRL tagging support efficient and standardized reporting. The VSME functionality serves as a “single source of truth” for sustainability data: Standardized reports for banks and business partners can be generated with a single click, significantly reducing the flood of individual customer questionnaires. 
  • EUDR: Already successfully in use, this solution enables companies to demonstrate that their products are deforestation-free. The solution offers automated traceability, risk analyses, simplified data management with suppliers, and data exchange with the EU TRACES portal at the click of a button. 
  • PPWR: Considering the new EU Packaging Regulation, this module helps companies ensure transparency regarding their packaging data. It automates the collection of supplier data and helps document recyclability and material composition in a legally compliant manner. The tool also makes it easy to meet many other product compliance requirements.  
  • CMMS: An easy way to get started with digital asset maintenance management: now available with a free trial. Automated task assignment, real-time tracking, and safety-critical checklists ensure efficient and secure management of all maintenance tasks. 
  • Fishery Control Regulation: The solution provides a quick introduction to the requirements of the EU Fisheries Control Regulation. With osapiens ftrace, data is seamlessly transmitted throughout the supply chain and traceability requirements are efficiently met. A free, proven onboarding process helps ensure a quick start.
