About Me
After studying physics and completing a PhD in mechanical engineering, Stefan developed engineering software tools that help companies enhance their energy efficiency and sustainability. Since 2020, he has focused on LCA and PCF solutions to optimize the carbon footprint of companies and products. He is head of the department “Modeling and Optimization of Energy Systems” at GFaI.
GFaI is an independent research and development institution that translates innovative software solutions and methods into practical applications. It develops advanced approaches in engineering and medical technology and provides these as practical tools for businesses and industry. Its mission is to transfer scientific knowledge directly into practical applications and make it accessible to the economy.
