adesso, one of Germany’s largest IT service providers, and osapiens, the leading software platform for sustainable growth, announce their strategic partnership. Together, they are now helping companies to efficiently implement regulatory requirements such as CSRD, EUDR, and CSDDD – and to use these as a lever for strategic growth.

The cooperation focuses on combining the AI-supported osapiens HUB platform with adesso’s extensive consulting expertise. Together, they are creating an end-to-end solution portfolio – from data integration and system linking to automated ESG reporting along the entire value chain.

Regulatory background: Changes to ESG reporting obligations from 2025

The requirements for corporate sustainability reporting are demanding. The expanded Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requires large, non-capital-market-oriented companies and certain international companies to report comprehensively on environmental, social, and governance issues in future. The EUDR (EU Regulation on deforestation-free products), coming into force on 30 December 2025, is another concrete reason to take action. Affected companies must implement the regulation by this date and prove that their products do not contribute to global deforestation. Meeting this regulation will involve considerable effort.

This is precisely where the partnership between adesso and osapiens comes in – with immediately available solutions, a clear roadmap, and a strong focus on implementation. Together, the partners provide companies with scalable and future-proof solutions that enable them to efficiently fulfil ESG requirements, quickly adapt to regulatory changes, and at the same time gain strategic insights from ESG data.

“Through this cooperation with osapiens, we are gaining a strong technology partner that enables companies to implement sustainability requirements efficiently and in a scalable manner. As an implementation partner, we support our customers from the start of the

project through to going live – with a focus on quality, speed, and future-proofing,” explains Jan Cremer, Head of the Digitalisation Competence Center in the Cross Industries business unit at adesso SE.

“Together with adesso, we are strengthening our partner network and creating real added value: we combine our technological platform strength with the implementation expertise of an experienced consulting firm, enabling companies to turn regulatory requirements into a strategic competitive advantage,” says Christian Schleich, Head of Global Partner Management at osapiens.
