Operational Excellence from Coffee Origin to Shipment.
Connect coffee origins, supplier evidence and due diligence with your existing purchasing and inventory processes. With osapiens HUB for EUDR, manage complex sourcing networks and keep compliance information connected to every shipment your business buys.
You know your coffee supplier. Can you connect each shipment to the farms behind it?
Reliable farm data. Connected shipments. Repeatable processes.
Connect farm-level evidence with every coffee shipment and make EUDR due diligence part of your daily sourcing operations.
Tier-n origin visibility
Coffee suppliers may provide anything from structured farm records to incomplete spreadsheets and missing coordinates. Cooperatives and exporters often need to consolidate information from many individual producers.
Collect geolocation, production information and supporting evidence through the supplier portal. Import existing records and identify missing or inconsistent data before it delays due diligence.
Connect farm evidence with the coffee you buy
Having farm data is only the starting point. As coffee is collected, processed and consolidated into export lots, the connection between production origins and the relevant shipment needs to remain clear.
Bring supplier, origin and transaction information together. Keep the evidence for contributing farms connected to the lots and shipments covered by your due diligence process.
Handle repeat purchases without repeating manual work
Recurring shipments can create recurring administration: requesting supplier information, reconciling documents, preparing due diligence statements and responding to customers.
Integrate osapiens HUB for EUDR with your existing business systems. Reuse relevant supplier and origin information where appropriate, automate with the help of AI Agents standard workflows and share compliance data through the customer portal and API.
Preserve the connection from coffee farm to shipment.
01 Production origin
Plantations and smallholder plots where the relevant commodity is produced. The challenge: many plots are unmapped and lack formal land titles, making plot-level geolocation and deforestation-free proof hard to obtain
02 Collection / supplier
Origin data begins to aggregate across suppliers and sourcing networks. The challenge: with many intermediaries, plot data gets lost or mixed, and traceability back to the origin breaks.
03 Mill or processor
As coffee is pulped, dried, hulled and graded, it may be combined or separated into different lots. Keep incoming origins connected to outgoing material throughout the relevant processing steps. The challenge: batches from many plots are mixed during processing, so the exact origin of the oil is hard to document.
04 Exporter or importer
Consolidate supplier information, contributing origins and risk evidence for the coffee being shipped. Where required, prepare and submit the due diligence statement through EU TRACES and retain its references alongside transaction records.
05 Downstream product
Keep origin, transaction, risk and evidence connected as material moves onward. For roasters combining direct imports with EU purchases, apply the appropriate workflow to each sourcing route and keep information available for customer requests. The challenge: with many manufacturers and handovers, evidence gets lost, making due diligence statements hard to support.
Reach the smallholders behind the mill.
Collect or ingest plot geolocation, validate it, and assess deforestation and legality risk plot by plot. Missing registration and land-status evidence goes to suppliers as structured requests instead of email chains.
Different origins, different legal requirements. The same need for traceability and geolocation.
Most palm oil enters the EU from Indonesia and Malaysia, followed by Guatemala, Papua New Guinea and Honduras. What counts as legal production depends on the country. What you need to prove does not.
Legality
Acceptable land rights, permits, registrations and other requirements look different for every country.
Traceability
Traceability across the full supply chain requires linking the product to mills, collection points and plots - no mass balance allowed.
Geolocation
Accessibility of valid plot-level coordinates is not the same across countries. Some origins require workarounds and extra validation.
Country benchmark as set by the European Commission in May 2025. Figures on smallholder area and MSPO coverage are industry and public-sector estimates and change over time.
