We are proud to announce that our CEO, Mr. Alberto Zamora, has been invited to take a seat in the European Economic Senate (EES) and is thus a member of the EES with immediate effect. Our thanks go to Dr. Walter Döring (former Minister of Economics and Deputy Prime Minister) for approaching Mr. Zamora and visiting our osapiens headquarters in Mannheim. In addition to Dr. Walter Döring, who is Chairman of the European Economic Senate, the two former EU Commissioners, Professor Günther Verheugen and Dr. Benita Ferrero-Waldner, are founding members and belong to the Board of Directors, along with many other European personalities. The aim of this pan-European and politically neutral organisation is to provide broad support to political and governmental actors throughout the EU in the interest of the common good by jointly developing practical approaches and solutions from the perspective of an ecological and social market economy, or better a green and inclusive economy. From the point of view of the European Economic Senate, an eco-social market economy opens up enormous possibilities for shaping the future. Therefore, the economy and the personalities in the economy have a special responsibility for sustainable development and thus, in addition to the economic perspective, also for ecological and social issues of coexistence. Mr Zamora is honoured and pleased to be involved with heart and mind in this enormously important EU initiative.
